The next retreat is Feb. 19-21, 2021

The retreat is being held at Lutherwood Camp and Retreat Center right on the edge of Lake Samish in Bellingham, about a 90 min. drive N. of Seattle.

We are currently planning the 2021 retreat and our main speaker this year is Scott L. from Nashville TN.

Please check back here as we move closer for an updated agenda, or join the mailing list.

We would love you to participate in the planning of the next retreat, our business meeting is the 4th Wed. of every month right after our SOS AA meeting, please come to the meeting and stick around for the retreat business meeting at 8:45p.

As with last year we will be focused on the program of spiritual action as outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Registration includes all meals and lodging.

What to Expect?

Lots of Fellowship -- A Really Good Time with Old & New Friends -- Great Food

What will I take away from the weekend? -- Totally up to you, but hopefully... a deeper understanding of the big book and the steps, a new friend or two, or if you come with some friends an even deeper friendship, and lastly, much gratitude for the fact you normally do not sleep in a dorm with a bunch of dudes!

Will my bed be super soft and luxurious? -- The bed might be a bit "meh" but lets face it, when you were drinking you woke up in WAY worse places and slept on way worse things, be grateful that you are sober enough to remember that!

Will I sleep really well and feel super rested? -- This is a is a rustic camp not a spa, chances are pretty good that if you don't, you won't really care because you are having such a great time, plus there will be nap opportunities and your a man you can take it.

What do I have to do? -- Nothing really, we have an agenda of events but you can do anything you like, if you want to skip a session and hike around the lake, feel free. The location is beautiful and serene, it is easy to find a quite spot to have a chat with your HP.

Will I be sleeping in a room with a bunch of strangers? -- Maybe at first, but by the end of the weekend some of them might be new lifelong friends.

Who will be there? -- A really great mix of men who are new to the steps and men that have been at it a number of years. We have a group that comes up from California every year, a group that comes down from Canada and lots of men from Western Washington.

Will there be a cornhole tournament? -- Yes. If you don't know what cornhole is, don't worry about, it we promise you'll like it. Besides... what happens at Lutherwood, stays at Lutherwood :)

We are limited to 120 participants and we try to scholarship about 20 men, that leaves only 100 tickets. This will be our 6th year putting on the retreat and each year it sells out earlier than the last. We encourage you to register as early as possible.
